Rob is an experienced photographer with a unique and well developed style. He believes it is critical that before hiring any photographer that you like their work and can trust that they will deliver a wedding gallery that reflects what you see in their portfolio. In wedding photography, professionalism is critical. The photographer is the one vendor you spend 85 percent of the day with and it is important that you have a good report with them. Rob works well in advance of the wedding day to build a relationship of trust with his clients.

Style. Experience. Personality.

As a photographer, part of being prepared for photographing a wedding is staying in close contact with my clients and their planner to make sure I’m well informed of important aspects of the wedding. I make myself available to answer questions or provide timeline reviews where photography might be involved.

Taking the photos is only half the job. Leading up to the wedding day I work with my clients to build a shot list of important portraits they want and any family dynamics I should be aware of going into the wedding day. I want to make sure that blended families and any other relationships are respected... or avoided. After the wedding day, I go into post production mode; film is developed, photos are edited, and I curate a cohesive narrative of the day in an online wedding gallery shared approximately 6 weeks later.

Ready to book?

There is so much preparation leading up to your wedding day that I’m truly excited to be a part of it. I strive to be a calm and joyful presence throughout the day. While it is important I capture all the necessary portraits and design details, being well organized and working efficiently help guarantee I don’t monopolize your time during the celebration.

What is it like to work with you on the day of the wedding?

Communication and collaboration before the wedding day is essential to ensuring I have the tools and information to capture your wedding in a thoughtful and creative way. I’m a pro at thinking on my feet, but I prefer those unplanned instances to come from mother nature rather than a lack of communication (and yes, I always have a backup plan).

What atmosphere during a wedding day allows you to create your best work?

Yes! Every package is customized to my client’s specific needs. Whether it is a destination elopement or a multiday celebration, making sure our clients have the correct amount of coverage for the best photography outcomes is a top priority. Weddings are expensive, I understand budgetary constrains and will always do my best to develop a package within my clients budget without compromising my value as an artist and professional.

Can I customize a package to fit my needs?

I am the lead photographer at every wedding and am always accompanied by a trusted and well-vetted second photographer. If your wedding is over 300 guests, we require two lead photographers and an assistant photographer to ensure the best documentation of your wedding.

How many people are on your photography team?

From an intimate 10 person wedding to a 400 guest, multi-day event wedding, I've photographed them. Weddings all have a similar objective of celebrating the love and commitment between two people, but every couple brings their own diverse views, traditions, religion, sense of design and personalities to a wedding. Capturing unique and exciting celebrations is what draws me to wedding photography as a profession.

Do you often shoot weddings that have a similar size and style to the one we are planning?

BE YOURSELVES! I will guide you through poses and have tips for creating beautiful images, but letting your personalities shine will make them yours! Love, photographs beautifully.

What is your best tip for posing?
