The Photographer

"Nothing inspires me more as a photographer than traveling, documenting life as it happens, and honoring the still moments that often go unnoticed."

With more than 15 years of experience behind the camera, I’ve dedicated my career to telling stories through fine-art photography. My work stays true to light, environment, and subject, whether I’m shooting on film or digital, and I strive to create images that capture moments meant to be cherished for a lifetime.
Traveling and documenting life as it unfolds continually fuel my creativity. I’m especially drawn to the quiet, still moments that often go unnoticed, and I use that inspiration to evolve both my artistry and my profession.
Outside of photography, the kitchen is where I feel most at home. Growing up in northern New Hampshire in a French-Canadian family, food and lively conversation were central to every gathering. Today, I carry that tradition forward with my own family and friends, finding as much joy in cooking and entertaining as I do in my craft.

Film and digital mediums showcase my overall approach to a fine art style. I rely on a classic approach to lighting, using natural light when possible. My portraiture is casual, and I enjoy walking couples through a portrait session with suggested poses and expressions to maximize each moment. However, I am always watching for those candid moments that make a photo gallery unique and special.

My process is straightforward. I look for the best lighting situations, my subject's best angles, and frame my image using various composition rules. This process allows me to capture the image as it was and not how I can manipulate the photo in editing. My artistic philosophy is to rely on my photography skills and not my editing ability. I rely on these simple methods to deliver the most genuine and naturally beautiful wedding gallery to my clients.

Whether it’s an engagement shoot or the big day, I like to make my clients as comfortable as possible because nerves have a way of showing themselves in photos. Part of that comfortability is knowing me and having the opportunity to meet face to face without a camera between us. For many of my clients just meeting for coffee or cocktails beforehand often eases the anxiety of being photographed later. I always encourage couples to book an engagement shoot. It is often the best place to shake off nerves and get comfortable with the camera and my process.
