The Photographer

"Nothing inspires me more as a photographer than traveling, documenting life as it happens, and honoring the still moments that often go unnoticed."

With over 15 years of telling stories through a camera lens, Rob is a true master of his craft. Specializing in fine-art photography, his images are true to their light, environment, and subject. He uses a mixture of film and digital formats to capture the moments that are cherished for a lifetime.
"Nothing inspires me more as a photographer than traveling, documenting life as it happens, and honoring the still moments that often go unnoticed." As a photographer, he always uses this inspiration to improve his art and profession.
When he is not behind the camera, he’s in the kitchen. Growing up in northern New Hampshire, in a French-Canadian family, food and loud conversation was the foundation of all his gatherings and he continues this tradition with his own family, entertaining and cooking for friends.

Film and digital mediums showcase my overall approach to a fine art style. I rely on a classic approach to lighting, using natural light when possible. My portraiture is casual, and I enjoy walking couples through a portrait session with suggested poses and expressions to maximize each moment. However, I am always watching for those candid moments that make a photo gallery unique and special.

My process is straightforward. I look for the best lighting situations, my subject's best angles, and frame my image using various composition rules. This process allows me to capture the image as it was and not how I can manipulate the photo in editing. My artistic philosophy is to rely on my photography skills and not my editing ability. I rely on these simple methods to deliver the most genuine and naturally beautiful wedding gallery to my clients.

Whether it’s an engagement shoot or the big day, I like to make my clients as comfortable as possible because nerves have a way of showing themselves in photos. Part of that comfortability is knowing me and having the opportunity to meet face to face without a camera between us. For many of my clients just meeting for coffee or cocktails beforehand often eases the anxiety of being photographed later. I always encourage couples to book an engagement shoot. It is often the best place to shake off nerves and get comfortable with the camera and my process.

You guys are absolute rockstars! Our Families are going to lose it when they see these pictures! Thank you so much for everything, you’ve captured a special moment for us and we’ll never forget it.

Rob you did an amazing job and really made us feel so comfortable, from the very first phone call all the way through the end of the evening. I can’t wait to write a review(s) because everyone should work with you two.

Thank you for beautifully capturing our day! I'm very grateful for the beauty and skill that made this all come to life. We will treasure these photos always.
